Bad and Crazy

My husband gave me a great present for my today's birthday - The finale of Bad And Crazy ๐Ÿ’
It was one of two dramas that I have started in December and took falf a year to finish! And not due to its content! Drama was fantastic and I think it is the last time I watch so anticipated drama with my husband.... he is so bad at bingewatching ๐Ÿ™ˆ what is it to watch 12 episodes of drama .... 2 weeks at best. With him it took 6 months and 10 days ๐Ÿ˜‚

From husband to k-drama.
Bad And Crazy is a kind of Korean answer to Fight Club. It's not stated simply, but there are many similar elements, such as an imaginary guy who does whatever he pleases, fights between him and the main character and his will to make the world better place (but executed in his own way).

At first I didn't like the drama as much as my husband because it was to similat to mentioned Fight Club sothe slow pace of watching it was more than fine with me. But suddenly in the 4th episode the content reached out to me and I started to pay more attendion to the drama. Producers dropped a bomb with incredible plot twist and fillowing episodes were getting more and more of my interest ๐Ÿ˜ต In overall drama was really really good .... Fun fact: the intro song is my cleaning song now ๐Ÿ˜‚

Soo-Yeol (Lee Dong-Wook) works as a police officer with questionable ethics. He will do anything to achieve success. Due to his ambitious personality, he has received promotions in a short period of time. His smooth life suddenly changes with the appearance of K (Wi Ha-Joon). K is a righteous and crazy person who wants to be a hero. Whenever he faces injustice, he welcomes it with a fist. Not so long ago Soo-Yeol dated Hee-Gyeom (Han Ji-Eun) who works as a police lieutenant on the drug squad at the same Police Department. She is as righteous as mysterious K and is enthusiastic about her job.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I didn't like the pace of the series in its first episodes, but later the producers made up for it because the series as a whole is fantastic. I love these birthday gifts! The drama has so many twists and turns that you can lose yourself in who is connected to whom and how in this great crime network. Whoever wrote this script was a crazy mastermind!

Viewers went from a copshow to mental illness with psycho stearing the youngsters lives. I enjoyed it but it was a bit much for 12 episodes ๐Ÿ˜… Oh yes... I almost forgot ... thee was also a russian mafia ๐Ÿ™ˆ It is one of the most unique plots I've seen and was all well glued together but left a dose of unsatisfactory because each case took maybe 4 episodes. I would like to know a little more about these cases, a bit more background because at some point drama felt rushed.

To quote Pinoy Ares from MyDramaList with whom I fully agree: I do feel like they suddenly cut the drug issue short and that it wasnt closed properly. It's like it was done because they already exceeded the episode numbers and its almost time to close the curtain and show the crazy doctor. After all, Boss Yong was magnificently played and was scary as hell, and could have been a much better overall antagonist.

Combining Soo Yeol and K into an antagonistic couple who can't escape each other was fantastic and kept me going through the first few episodes. Over time, their relationship changed - some elements for the better and some for the worse. Their bromance was sweet and it's a pity that it turned into a search for childhood memories so quickly.  I was crying when K was leaving ๐Ÿ˜” but heard rumors that duo will be back ๐Ÿ˜ต therefore my sadness is skiping away.

Moving on quickly to secondary characters.... Lee Hee Gyeom and Oh Kyung Tae. Those two had the most adorable and cute faces in whole drama but don't let their faces fool you. They can be tough! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Both of them never hesitate when it comes to getting and arresting a criminal and have a good influence over Soo Yeol. Of these two Kyung Tae just stole my heart! He is the kindest person I have ever seen in my life and so needed in the police. He is warm-hearted and has a very very strong sense of duty. From the first case he has become my favourite character here!

Something about the villain(s)? Jung Sung II played an insane role of Shin Joo Hyuk and the same goes to Kim Hi Eo Ra in a role of Boss Yong. I know both actors from The Glory and it was great to see them again... but this time in a much much darker edition. They gave their hearts and brains to these characters! ❤❤

Summary!
    Cast: 8
    Acting: 7
    Plot: 7
    Music 8

I watched this drama for the cast and thought it will be something nice to watch with my husband. He liked it from the very first moment! ๐Ÿ’“ and opened up to K-drama. We are even starting to watch Bloodhounds with Do-hwan Woo this weekend ๐Ÿ˜

The synopsis was secondary reason for me to watch Bad and Crazy ๐Ÿ™Š I'm a huge fan of Lee Dong-Wook and im dying to watch second season of Tale of Nine Tailed but it's still unavailable in my part of Europe.

In overall I liked Bad and Crazy very much and easily can give it 7,5/10 points! The fact of cuting the cases annoyes me as **** . Will ever watch it again? I don't think so. I will definatile enjoy every reels, still or tiktok regarding the drama but I am far from being a person that rewatches dramas. But will I recommend it. HELL YES!
