Second short-drama with my handsome Sung Hoon and I'm not disapointed but also not overwhelmed. Noble, my love has good acting, interesting story and it's a pity that was made so short. It took me one and only one rainy Sunday to watch this drama back-to-back 😕 although it was good, it left me half-full.
When it comes to the story - nothing new here. Rich CEO Lee Kang Hoon comes across a Cha Yoon Seo, vet with financial problems. Their unexpecting meeting and one scart night together makes Kang Hoon wanting to know her more. As they both get curious about each other, falling in love is just a metter of time. of course we also have an inconspicuous angry and hurt brother here, a parent's opposition, second-rate love, and other ex-related dramas.
How did they managed to pack it all into 20 episodes of 15 minutes? It all happens so fast that in the afternoon you see them meeting each other and in the evening they look at each other like the cat from Shrek. Whole serie takes 5h to watch therefore many scenes are cut-short or eliminated. It's a nice drama format when you don't have the time to watch the lengthy ones or your patience to schemes of mother-in-law and ex-girlfriends is running out. Here it all goes around just two characters played by Sung Hoon and and Kim Jae Kyung. All the other characters appear only episodically. Nonetheless they all play nicely. They just didn't have time to accelerate 😅
Short drama = short review
Looking back at it, the actors did a really good job considering the time they had to preform their roles. The story was told, some of the most important things were cleared up and they lived happily ever after (I hope). The basic mile stones there there. BUT! I think that the script was interesting enough that producers could make full-length 1-hour episodes and stretch it to, for example, 10 episodes. Sung Hoon and Kim Jae Kyung play interesting characters and look very good together, so I would looooove to see their romance 💕 Drama is good but producers missed an opportunity of making something meaningfull and engaging. The short episodes were bothersome and I cannot give it higher note than 6/10. I'm sorry Sung Hoon 😐
